The biggest use of NFC tags may be electric water heater Suppliers

Wireless technologies like NFC and Bluetooth launch a new era of worry-free living. You can even locate your baggage on an airport conveynor belt using NFC tags. Wireless technologies like NFC and Bluetooth launch a new era of worry-free living. Many of us have reached the age when a pair of spectacles mislaid or a wallet lost, can seem like a larger crisis than all the weighty matters discussed at 9 pm on TV.

Time was, when we had to round up a posse of the unwilling near-and-dear and send them out in search parties to retrieve our missing possessions. Thanks to some innovative extensions of wireless technology, today there is a better way. You click an app on your phone and a tag attached to your prized possession, announces where it is hidden. But it is not just geriatrics like us, who should welcome these new tools to worry-free living:

For the young and restless, smart tags enable levels of convenience that were hitherto undreamt of. You enter a restaurant and tap your table with your phone. The menu opens on your handset, with any preset restrictions you may have set — like vegetarian or diabetic. These may seem like trivial applications — that is because the smart tags story is still a work in progress, limited only by one’s imagination and creativity. The trend is largely driven by two technologies: Near Field Communication and Bluetooth. NFC is a short-range high frequency wireless communication technology that enables the exchange of data between devices over five to 10 cm distance. NFC tags are thin, coin-sized circuits which can be fashioned like stickers.

They are passive i.e., they have no power source of their own and draw it wirelessly from another active NFC device. Tags, can typically store from 100 to 1000 bytes of information and these can be programmed to do just about anything: transferring pictures, text and video links. You can embed an NFC tag on any surface — in a brochure for example — and it will open up an entire multimedia document. Such tags are now available by the dozen, for around Rs 50 and are reusable.Programming them on your phone using special NFC apps is quite easy — so you can tweak the tags to do a variety of things. Some wireless speakers use NFC to connect to the phone.

The biggest use of NFC tags may be electric water heater Suppliers in the payments business. Many points of sale now allow you to pay by bringing your phone close to the NFC station: All your credit card information remains secure. The more basic use of tags to track items, people and pets, is best done using Bluetooth. This is usually good for 10 metres or so. Bluetooth tags are larger and stay in constant communication with a Bluetooth enabled device. Indian companies have launched some useful versions.Such wireless ways to connect have overtaken technologies like Bar codes, Quick Response Codes, even Radio Frequency ID (RFID) because they are simpler, not necessarily better. In today’s tech duniya — your solution must work for dummies — or die.Evotag: Find it fast!A Gurgaon-based startup, Evoxyz Technologies has made a name in micro location technologies and launched arguably India’s first Bluetooth tracker, Evotag. The tiny rubber encased device needs to be paired with the Evotag app on your phone. This allows you to set up one of many use scenarios: locate any item to which you have attached the tag; locate a pet; know when your child strays away from you; locate baggage when it comes near you — on an airport conveyor belt. You can ask the lost item to announce itself — with a ring. In another useful situation, you can stick the tag on your front door and programme your phone to ring if the door is opened. In fact the tag is a bahuroopi that you can train for any number of situations. With the tag you also get an LED torch-keychain to which you can attach the tag if you like. It costs Rs 1,399 — a small price to pay for peace of mind. It is available later this week from online portals or from the parent company.

The ear buds come in a neat box

Wings Lifestyle brings touch -enabled wireless earbuds to India. The whole thing shouts 'class' and costs Rs 3999. If one were to think of audio hearing devices as an evolutionary chain, the most evolved, the top-of-the-heap, is for me the ear bud, easily outranking, in-earphones, on-ear headsets and everything in between.

And if like the Wings Touch, it comes with an easy, intuitive, touch control for most common operations and a choice of differently sized ear tips, I have ticked off pretty much all the boxes on my wish list. The biggest pain point that earbuds address is that there is no dangling wire linking the two ear pieces.

The ear buds come in a neat box, where they get charged in situ from a built- in 500 mAh rechargeable battery. Once removed, they sync with each other -- and through an app-- with your mobile phone.

After that, it&wholesale instant heating water faucet39;s touch all the way on the sides of the ear buds: a short touch to take a call or stop it; a longer tap to move from one music tap to the next; a double tap on left or right bud to decrease or increase the volume and three taps to activate the voice assistant, Google Assistant or Siri, depending on whether your phone is Android or # iPhone. And yes, the sound is cool too -- or should I say hot, as the bass is nicely boosted. The whole thing shouts 'class' and costs Rs 3999. The box proclaims: 'Proudly designed in India'. Amen to that.

One of the most popular temples in India may soon

Now banks are offering 2.5 percent. The government would melt the gold and loan it to jewellers. The temple is considering depositing some of its 160 kg of gold with banks. The idea is to recycle the idle gold to meet fresh demand and thus reduce bullion imports, the second biggest expense on India's import bill after oil.

Mumbai: One of the most popular temples in India may soon make the first substantial contribution to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's plan to recycle tonnes of idle bullion to reduce imports and the country's current account deficit.Devotees of the temple, which is often frequented by Bollywood stars, mostly seemed to support the decision. To access Siri on the AirPods

As of yet, no concrete details have been provided or no new information has been given regarding what health features in the new AirPods will entail. The report adds that several suppliers, notably Zhen Ding Tech, Flexium Interconnect, Compeq Manufacturing, and Unitech Printed Circuit Board are all taking part in the production of the brand new AirPods. The latest beta version of iOS 12.

The report states, "The main difference from using "Hey, Siri” with these new AirPods will be that the AirPods themselves will do the recognition, sending the command to the paired device. Over the past few months, various rumours had leaked suggesting that Apple was going to release the second-generation Apple AirPods. As per a report by 9to5Mac, when pairing the AirPods 2, a user will be required to set up the Hey Siri feature in exactly the same way its done on an iPhone and iPad.2 which has just been released. The second generation Apple AirPods have been hinted in the developer build of iOS 12.

As of now, the Hey Siri command is accessible to just Apple iPhone and the Apple iPad to wake up the devices. But it’s in no way surprising that Apple’s focus is on health. AirPods 2 will come with support for Hey Siri. This means you’ll be able to use Siri while your iPhone is in your pocket without having to tap on your AirPods..With Apple expected to host an event for its next-generation iPad in March, we believe that the Apple AirPods 2 could make an appearance at the event itself.

To access Siri on the AirPods, it needs to be done via a tap, before you can quiz the voice assistant. The next-generation AirPods could launch as early as the first half of this year and it will come with support for some health monitoring features, with no specifics divulged.”In an earlier report, Apple has been delaying the AirPods 2 because they plan on adding some important tech in them.

Now, the biggest confirmation that Apple will be launching the second generation AirPods in the near future comes via the developer build of iOS 12. It has to be noted that the setup is not visible to public beta testers.2 includes a new setup interface for the command "Hey Siri” for the Apple AirPods — this is a highlighted feature of the AirPods 2. However, we are still awaiting the highly anticipated next-gen true wireless earphones. China hot water tap electric faucet Suppliers This, in turn, trains the AirPods to respond only when the user is trying to access Siri and not the voices of other people.2

While many residents this newspaper spoke to say that it is out of habit that they use the filter or RO water, some also said that the water is not "that clean” as the government claims it to be. It was not 100 per cent clean,” said Ms Akash Katyal, a retired school principal and a resident of Navjeevan Vihar.Residents said that even though there is a 24-hour supply, the pressure is not always good and they have not done away with their motors and booster pumps yet.”

Another resident, Ms Sehgal, said her family uses tap water for washing vegetables and for other non-drinking purposes only. Four months after the pilot phase was launched in Navjeevan Vihar in Malviya Nagar, residents say they haven’t used tap water for drinking purposes even once and still rely on water filters.

A government official said that for the project to be successful, it would need to spread more awareness and clear misconceptions among the people about the project. It will also help it in saving water from overflowing as consumers will have the facility to use direct water supply from taps by closing the inlet of overhead tanks. Four months after the pilot phase was launched in Navjeevan Vihar in Malviya Nagar, residents say they haven’t used tap water for drinking purposes even once and still rely on water filters. Similarly, Nupur Verma, a student, said, "We can’t trust the claims that the water from the taps is clean”. "We can’t drink from the tap because we are not used to it

The problem is that since the railways

And food was among the most frequently asked questions. Be it the bland veg ‘biryani’ or the classic one-day-old vada pav, the poor quality of railway pantry food helps potato wafers and fruit vendors make a killing at railway junctions. So we put together a service where we partnered with hundreds of restaurants across the country in all major cities and towns to make sure that Jain food is available during train journeys.

Another new entrant RailYatri. So we modelled ours as a crowd-sourced platform and started answering questions that travellers had. But the next time you settle in for a long-distance train ride, you can safely go easy on the crisps and munchies, because good food and that too of your choice will be on its way, delivered to your seat. So I had to travel by trains quite a bit and every time, the moment I sat in the train I felt this sense of disconnect from services that I am used to. In any case now seems a good time for startups to engage with this giant market,” he says.

These startups may be running the same race, but they have one thing in common — all their founders have suffered train ka khana at one point or the other. That is is what I wanted to change. We have already tied up with the railways to market our website on IRCTC, which is one of the biggest platforms for rail travellers and recently we also started data sharing with the railways. But for its founder Pushpinder Singh, the potential of this segment has hardly been tapped. This is where Ashish says his service comes in. and they have no choice but to eat the bad food.in, has already engaged over three million users on its app. Singh says, "There are not many things today that technology cannot help people with. Ashish’s Khanaonline. While items on menus usually come with a mark-up and can be anywhere upwards of Rs 100, the challenge is to find restaurants with lower minimum order range because many restaurants on these portals come with minimum delivery order of Rs 2000 and above.

And although many have faced the same problem over the years, for these young, idea hungry entrepreneurs, every problem is an opportunity. We started answering those questions by mapping and extending China wholesale electric water heater our presence to over 80 major cities. There are millions who travel long hours from Delhi to Cochin etc. And one of the most major issues was food. While some of these ventures have online payment options, services like KhanaOnline work through call-centres, where one places the order on phone and then pays cash on delivery.jpg Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali enjoy a meal onboard a long distance train during the promotions of Tamasha. Travelkhana, which was one of the first players to tap this market, has so far completed a whopping 1. It is a big push for the sector and now the situation seems very conducive as the current railway minister has pushed for more involvement from startups. "I come from a Jain family and being a big family we have travelled together on trains so many times. The biggest problem that I faced while travelling on trains is to be completely disconnected from technology.” While big numbers are the focus for most of the players, for Maharashtra-based Ashish Jain the focus is a lot more personal and niche. The idea was the result of my own experiences. Get ready to be spoilt for choice the next time you go on a long distance train journey as a number of startups are revolutionising the railway catering space with quality food that’s delivered right to your seatFor most passengers taking a long-distance train, the only thing more worrisome than bathrooms is the quality of food served onboard. While Travelkhana offers comprehensive menus compiled from over 1,100 restaurants that they’ve tied up with, RailYatri works with information collated from previous users to design their menu. But the biggest problem was getting food that was compliant to Jain traditions — especially for my parents and the elders in our family. Our users can go to the app and get information on where to get good food while on a journey, how to get it, how safe and healthy it would be and so on. Ventures like Travelkhana, Khanaonline and RailYatri are three start-up ventures that appear to be doing things right to bring the quality of food in trains back on track.. I studied in Varanasi and stayed for quite some time in Jamshedpur. His reason to start the venture was simple. While not entirely a service dedicated to food, RailYatri’s model is a little different from its competitors, says its founder Manish Rathi. While finding pure Jain food is often quite hard, on trains this problem is even more pronounced.Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali enjoy a meal onboard a long distance train during the promotions of Tamasha.in serves a very niche clientele with a very particular need — Jain food. Get ready to be spoilt for choice the next time you go on a long distance train journey as a number of startups are revolutionising the railway catering space with quality food that’s delivered right to your seat RANBIR-DEEPIKA TRAIN KHANA.

The problem is that since the railways is such a large network, getting the authorities interested depends on finding the right people.5 million orders. "Most of the times, the major problem is not availability but rather information.”While the startups have been making deep inroads into the railways related services sector for a while now, major changes have only happened in the last couple of years, points out Pushpinder.

While TravelKhana is a service to be made available through a tie-up with IRCTC, the other two are app-based services where one needs to download the app or simply visit the respective websites to place their order

The original score for the show was composed

The original score for the show was composed by Jayanta Banerjee and Carmen Staaf. A sensational collaboration of rhythm, poetry, storytelling, music and dance is a treat When world-renowned classical and jazz musicians come together to jam at Speak: Rhythm in feet, it is bound to thrill, provoke and move one’s spirit in the fusion that is.Carrying forward the legacy of iconic artists like Pandit Chitresh Das, Dr. Jimmy Slyde and James Buster Brown, and bringing to the forefront the voices of powerful female artists like Rina Mehta, Rachna Nivas, Michelle Dorrance, and Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards it was a moment nothing short of magic on the stage.

Serving as a bridge between tradition and innovation, rather a history and progress, live music acts created a mystic mood of fusion was enthralling. The original score for the show was composed by Jayanta Banerjee and Carmen Staaf.Performing Speak in NCR for the first time, the group was quite excited about the show. Rina Mehta one of the Kathak performers enthusiastically shares, "We had the great privilege of watching our Guruji develop and perform a collaboration with Tap artist Jason Samuels Smith over a decade. We have been watching how Kathak and Tap could be brought together for many years now. Speak was in the making for two years before its first premiere on March 2017.”When an artist comes up on stage prepared, he or she expects something in return from the audience. However, Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, a Tap dancer, and definitely a show stealer of the evening, begs to differ. She argues, "I try not to expect anything from an audience. However, this collaboration is special to us. We hope the Delhi audience enjoys the similarities and differences between the two forms of dances as we are representing our forms with integrity and authenticity.”A still from the showThe show has been received very well by the audience and is special for all the performers. It features four women at the helm in the role of creators as well as artistic directors. Rina says, "It was important to continue the conversation between Guruji and Jason on two very different art forms and two communities after Guruji passed on the style of fusion.

It was also important for us to bring in voices of women to the forefront. The response has been very positive. I think people are excited by the message of the show that ‘we can be one’ and we can celebrate our differences and yet find a common ground.”China wholesale electric water heater faucetThe musicians share their enthusiasm and talk about their composition, "Our favorite part is working with a group of people, willing to go outside the comfort zone and learn and try something new. We think the show is also a model on how we can be in life. It’s okay to let your guard down and when you do that, growth happens.”They also add, "Our favorite part is learning different ways and approach in music and rhythm of jazz and Indian classical music. We like learning from each other and seeing what happens when the two art forms come together!”

Michelle Dorrance another Tap performer feels the strongest impact is when one learns and gets inspired by different cultures, while still being able to honour her own. She says it took many months for the troupe to develop the piece. They value improvisation.Creating a fusion of Kathak and Tap doesn’t even sound easy. Many cannot imagine if there are similarities between the two. Rachna Nivcas, a Kathak dancer and performer, however, feels differently. For her hurdles and challenges mean inspiration. "We have definitely encountered many along the way. As a Kathak dancer, I have to determine what are the different ways in which I can use my bare feet to produce sounds as against rival sounds made by metal taps on the bottom of tap shoes. It’s a big challenge to translate my Kathak vocabulary on Jazz music while simultaneously maintaining the integrity and purity of both forms.”Rachna adds with enthusiasm, "It’s so great for us to close our tour in Delhi for so many reasons.

This is the capital and carries a heavy weight of Indian history, particularly for Kathak and Hindustani classical music. It’s also special for me as Delhi is where I grew up and a large part of my own family belong.”Though fusion, various dance forms are now trending in every nook and cranny. While, maintaining authenticity of the forms often poses a challenge, Speak has made its mark, touching many hearts.

TDB identified Amperes excellence in R&D

Most lead-acid batteries work in moderately cold countries.Speaking on the importance of an EV battery charger, Hemalatha said, "As battery forms 30 percent to 50 percent of the total cost of an electric vehicle, utmost care needs to be taken during charging and discharging.

Speaking at the launch of Ampere chargers, Hemalatha Annamalai, Founder and CEO, Ampere Vehicles Pvt Ltd, said, "We are delighted to share Amperes innovation in developing EV chargers that are specially designed to endure the harsh Indian weather conditions, thus making it easy to adopt for commercial use.

President Pranab Mukherjee launched Indias most technologically advanced EV chargers, developed by Ampere, a Coimbatore based company, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, today."Ampere has been incubating innovations for promoting indigenous manufacturing, in sync with the governments Make-in-India initiative, for reducing the cost of the vehicle for its end-users.

Therefore, for a battery to remain in good condition, it is important to use it efficiently."An Ampere charger is unique as it uses microcontroller-based intelligent battery charger system, which facilitates automatic shut down after full charge, over temperature shutdown with auto recovery, short circuit protection with auto recovery, overload protection, etc.

TDB identified Amperes excellence in R&D and partly funded the companys EV chargers project. This will go a long way in reducing the overall price of the vehicles, while boosting indigenous manufacturing in the country. The government and industry unison towards the movement has begun with the initiative of manufacturing of EV parts and accessories, besides other policy related reforms.

TDB plays a proactive role by encouraging enterprises to take up technology oriented products. "On account of indigenous manufacturing, the price of an EV charger will be reduced by 15% as sales volume increases", said Hemalatha. He described infrastructure as critical and that it must be addressed to make the green mobility paradigm a reality in India.Existing chargers, which are imported, are not equipped to handle Indian power and voltage fluctuations, and are expensive too." The Ampere chargers will potentially enhance the life of batteries, thereby reducing the running cost of electric vehicles in the long run. It provides equity capital or loans to industrial concerns and China electric water heater faucet Manufacturers financial assistance to research and development institutions at simple interest rates.

The Ampere electrical vehicle chargers project has been partly funded by Technology Development Board (TDB), Ministry of Science and Technology, as a part of the Make-in-India initiative, while giving thrust to the budding EV industry. For Indian environmental conditions and battery protection, active chargers using micro-controllers with automated features were needed. Ultimately, the objective is to translate maximum value to our customers who trust our products.

Electricity for cities relies too heavily

Affluence also makes air conditioners at home a standard thing, unlike the luxury it was some years ago.?Pretty soon, we might well be walking around wearing masks and our hospitals will be full of asthmatic children and young people whose lungs will be like chain smokers?although they haven touched a cigarette in their lives. Are any of these options realistically possible Delhi would probably have one riot after another as the large mass of working people would have found it impossible to get to work and children to school. As a result, the number of cars increases dramatically every year, with the more affluent owning multiple vehicles.

One of the more polluting factors in the Delhi area is the use of wood and cheap coal for choolahs for cooking and for keeping warm in winter. Going even further, he should have banned all diesel vehicles. The ultimate aim, of course, must be to make public transport so comfortable and efficient that even people with cars would prefer to use buses, trains and metros rather than private vehicles as happens overseas. We can criticise Mr Kejriwal and the AAP for not doing anything about it till the situation became absolutely dire, but we should lay the blame on previous Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party governments who have ruled Delhi without confronting the situation head on. If we draw up a list, there are many more factors contributing to Delhi environmental disaster.

All electric cars, at present in miniscule numbers, are to be encouraged by giving them excise and other large tax benefits so that they become more affordable than they are now. We are now at a stage where we will be telling our children,  oys and girls, watch television, don play outside. As Delhi  desperate situation shows  ?and the figures for Mumbai and other cities have begun to tell us  ?we have reached the point of no return. However much you treat the resulting smoke, this adds to the pollution of cities.

Arvind Kejriwal will now be acutely aware of this old adage as he squares up to the barrage of criticism coming his way due to his instant heating tap Suppliers proposed curbs on traffic. Is there a comprehensive national policy on the environment There clearly isn , because everything changes according to which politician is in charge of the ministry of environment and forests. The multiple flyovers, expressways, the sea link and the proposed coastal road may be necessary to cope with the city  ever-increasing car population. But realistically speaking, what was he to do The problem is hardly of Aam Aadmi Party  making. The availability of hydro power is obviously limited, so the need to harness solar energy and wind power, in a greater proportion than at present, becomes imperative. The writer is a senior journalist. A comprehensive environmental policy would have taken even factors like these into consideration.Since it  a national trait to procrastinate till matters come to a head, the Delhi crisis may finally galvanise the government to action. There are many other aspects that need to be considered. Instead, if the emphasis had been on public transport many of these expensive additions might have been unnecessary. Mr Kejriwal and company have at least made a start; the question is, how effective will it be There are many culprits involved in the declining state of our environment and these are common to most Indian cities. Jairam Ramesh and Prakash Javadekar form the two extremes of the spectrum, the former far too strict about enforcing green norms, the latter too cavalier about them.

So why did Mr Kejriwal choose the option of allowing even-numbered cars on even dates and odd-numbered on odd dates Because it was the easiest option. The dual pricing of diesel and petrol has resulted in the number of diesel cars overtaking the number of petrol vehicles. So it is an inherited problem. The government has decreed mandatory percentages. Could he ban those without inconveniencing a huge number of people Therefore, Mr Kejriwal has chosen the least of all evils.

To discourage future growth in this segment, the prices of diesel and petrol should be brought on par. Could Mr Kejriwal have banned those without causing untold misery for the poor Yet another factor affecting Delhi  air is the widespread use of diesel generators to compensate for power cuts. The use of compressed natural gas (CNG) for public vehicles needs to be speedily expanded as should be the use of hybrid cars. Ideally, he should have banned the worst polluters of the road, vehicles like buses, trucks autorickshaws and two-wheelers. How long have we been saying this in a city like Mumbai The emphasis by the civic administration has instead been on building infrastructure for private cars. The absence of a good public transport system has also resulted in an increasing number of people travelling by autorickshaws and two-wheelers, both of which are highly polluting. To mitigate hardship to goods carriers and to prevent a price rise in essential commodities, diesel itself could have dual pricing  ?on par with petrol for passenger cars and at the present level for trucks, lorries and buses. But given the desperate situation are these enough A new environmental policy would revisit these numbers and change them to reduce our dependence on thermal power.

Hybrid cars get many concessions in the UK, like reduction and exemption from road and congestion taxes, and many people have switched to these vehicles because of these advantages. Delhi is worse off simply because it has so many people  ?its population keeps growing inordinately fast  ?and also because many of its citizens get more and more prosperous with each passing year. The state of Delhi  environmental degradation has been a subject of discussion for a very long time. That  all it has been: a subject of discussion, not of action. Should something as important as the environment be left to the whims and fancies of individuals The recent Paris agreement might force our hand, but surely the onus should be on us to improve the quality of air.

Electricity for cities relies too heavily on thermal power, which requires the burning of coal. And by government, I mean the Central government because really, this is not just Delhi  problem, but the whole country .You are damned if you don  and damned if you do
